This song arises from this need to talk to the world about a reality so present in most Garifuna homes, they are real events, told by victims who have raised their voices but that the government still ignores. There are too many victims, some dead and others who keep quiet drawing a smile on their faces that hides the reality they live. I can confess that this song was written alone, because of the blood of victims, the pain of families, the mourning and crying of children who have been orphaned, those elements were the ink and paper to talk about this great problem that hides behind the beauty of the Garifuna woman.
