Lee reads chapters 5 to 8 of Ezekiel.  The chapters are about the judgment that was once threatened throughout the centuries, is now arriving.  God's judgment has come due to His peoples' stubbornness, rebellion, adultery and idolatry.  This has grieved the Lord (6:9) but He does not take pleasure in bringing judgment (18:23&32).

As we begin Ezekiel it is helpful to point out how the book divides: 

The book is split into 3 parts:

1. False Hope (Ch1-24)

2. No Hope (Ch25-33)

3. Real Hope (Ch34-48)
