We’re all accountable in some form or fashion. Children are accountable to their parents. Employees are accountable to their employer, and most importantly we are accountable to God. The Word of God teaches stewards must be faithful, which means the servant of God is unwavering and not compromising when it comes to doing what God has said.
Any successful endeavor requires a vision. Doing The Lord's work needs an elevated vision of what it is all about. Is your vision worthy of the King of kings and Lord of lords, or have you allowed yourself to have tunnel vision or a vision of despair?
In our day a great deal of anxiety is felt about the physical things of life. God says that we not fret about our living here on earth, that we seek first the kingdom, we may believe that He has real plans as to how we are to be fed and clothed. Have you given up your anxiety? Do you have peace? Are you trusting Him?
Habakkuk 2:4-5 teaches us that one can either live thier life intoxicated with the arrogance and appetite of the world, or one can live a sober life looking to God with faithful obedience. The righteous are: sober minded, humble in Spirit and satisfied because they trust and have obedience in God! Are you intoxicated, or are you sober?
Are you covering or hiding your sins? Are you tired of playing games with yourself and with God? Why not decide to obey Jesus today and save yourself from the wrath of God on the disobedient. Do not delay, tomorrow is not promise to you, now is the accepted time, and now is the day of salvation.
