Don't fall for what they're throwing at you. We can say mass shootings are tragic and also hold tightly to the second amendment. The two things are not related and we need to be more bold as we stand on founding principles. Don't let the emotional rhetoric trigger you or push you off balance. That's exactly the goal. Remember, whatever they're putting in front of you is what they want you to be obsessed and angry about. Stay focused on the bigger picture.

The goal is to make meat local again--as their tagline suggests. We walk through the conception of this idea and how God has positioned the launch of this marketplace at exactly the right time to not only help small farmers solve a number of problems, but also to help us facilitate community building around food as we begin to look at the likely prospect of food shortages and food insecurity in America. It's the question that both the secular world and Christians struggle with: Why do bad things happen to good people? The question we're really asking is: Is God good? I sit down with my friend, Jennifer, as we navigate her own personal trials--to which she has MANY--and discuss how she chose to lean in (not away) and how she has seen each of these "bad things" redeemed. She's also found a way to use her tragedies in a way that honors God and helps people--through fiction writing.

I had the unpleasant (but educational) experience of finding myself in a surprise debate with an atheist.
