El pasado viernes 05 de diciembre tuve la oportunidad de presenciar, de manera inesperada, el Parrandón Parroquial. Mientras realizaba una diligencia personal, me encontré con este encuentro lleno de música, tradición y alegría.

No dudé en aprovechar el momento y grabar un video con mi teléfono Redmi A5, para conservar y compartir este valioso registro audiovisual.

Uno de los instantes más especiales fue la presentación de los Gaiteros de la Virgen de la Chiquinquirá, quienes con su energía y talento llenaron de entusiasmo a todos los presentes. Sus voces y el sonido de los instrumentos recordaron la fuerza de nuestras raíces culturalesy las gaita venezolana.

Este tipo de encuentros comunitarios son más que música: son espacios de unión, identidad y celebración. La gaita, con su ritmo contagioso y su mensaje profundo, sigue siendo un símbolo vivo de nuestra cultura y un puente entre generaciones.

Last Friday, December 5th, I had the unexpected opportunity to witness the Parish Parrandón. While running a personal errand, I came across this gathering filled with music, tradition, and joy.

I didn’t hesitate to seize the moment and record a video with my Redmi A5 phone, to preserve and share this valuable audiovisual record.

One of the most special moments was the performance of the Gaiteros de la Virgen de la Chiquinquirá, who, with their energy and talent, filled everyone present with enthusiasm. Their voices and the sound of the instruments reminded us of the strength of our cultural roots and Venezuelan gaita.

These kinds of community gatherings are more than just music: they are spaces of unity, identity, and celebration. Gaita, with its contagious rhythm and profound message, continues to be a living symbol of our culture and a bridge between generations.
