GALACTIC PROGENY

Many of us are in a place of transition right now, a place of bloodline reformation. There is so much to say when you come against a wall, from the place you have been to a new place. David experienced this in the bringing in of the ark of God, he experienced both the wrong and the right way to bring in a place where God can dwell.

A number of weeks ago I was asking the Lord, where are we as a ministry in the narrative...after seeking Him He revealed the three Hebrew procession of the place David was seeking: Place, Dwelling Place and Resting Place. I could see that we in partnership with the Lord had found a “Place” at the YMI when we launched September 20th but now we were being prepared to find a “Dwelling Place” for Him. This was not primarily a the place of reformation heading west into Edenland but a dwelling place looking east for the restoration, the journey to the final frontier of man…glorification.

Last year late one evening, I sat down and watched a martial arts film entitled, The Grandmaster, a 2013 Hong Kong-Chinese martial arts drama film based on the life story of the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wing_Chun https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandmaster_(martial_arts) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ip_Man.

There are a number of Ip Man films starring Donnie Yen  that I have enjoyed watching. The following is a synopsis of The Grandmaster:

For the first forty years of his life, Ip Man (Tony Leung) leads a fairly simple life.  He begins his study of the martial arts at the age of seven, starts a family with his wife Cheung Wing-sing (Song Hye-kyo), and focuses on perfecting his Wing Chun.  In the 1930s, martial arts grandmaster Gong Yutian (Wang Qingxiang), a master of Xingyi and Bagua, announces his retirement.  He's appointed his longtime apprentice Ma San (Zhang Jin) as his heir in the north.  He comes down to the town of Foshan to identify his successor in the south.  Having witnessed Ip Man in action defeating a dozen men including arch nemesis The Razor (Chang Chen), the retiring grandmaster believes that the young Wing Chun master is the right man to succeed him.  Gong Yutian's daughter Gong Er (Zhang Ziyi) thinks otherwise.

To determine his heir, Gong Yutian issues an open challenge to the south.  As part of this challenge, the masters of the south are to select a representative to face the grandmaster.  Though many masters jockey for the opportunity, Ma San bars them all.  As Gong Yutian hopes, the masters ultimately end up selecting Ip Man to challenge him.  After some preparation, the young Wing Chun master meets the retiring grandmaster for a match of wits.  In order to win, he must break the cake in Gong Yutian's hand.  After a fierce back and forth between two magnificent warriors, Ip Man does just that and prevails.  Unhappy about her father's defeat, Gong Er introduces the new grandmaster to her 64 Hands technique and leaves a lasting impression on him.  As time marches on, the Japanese invade China, and Ip Man is forced to flee to Hong Kong.  There, the grandmaster begins a martial arts school and reunites with friends and foes alike.

The next morning I sat down with Brad Ames at Starbucks in Hendersonville and after we had finished our opening dialogue he asked me, “Carroll, are you familiar with the chess prodigy, Bobby Fischer?” I had never heard of him and so Brad begin to tell me of the first and only American-born world chess champion, a grandmaster around 1972 and eccentric genius beloved to have an I.Q. of 181, today he is ranked #3 all-time best chess player. What really caught my attention was that Brad kept speaking of the 64 squares on the chessboard, Brad kept speaking of our enemy and how he could out maneuver us if we didn’t walking humility. For me I was sitting there thinking about the invitation I had recently been invited into with the Lord concerning the northern campaign that Joshua had led in the taking of the promise land. There’s so much to this but in short Joshua lead the conquest primarily through two campaigns, one in the south and one in the north. In the south there were nine kings defeated and in the north twenty-two for a total of 31 kings. It will not be until David rightfully becomes king after Saul's unification of the nation that you will see the South (Judah) and the North (Israel) become one untied Monarchy or more properly Theocracy. MZHOP had covered 7 of those kings, OOMZ had covered 2 but when we launched Asheville Collider we were already in the 10th king (PH10; see below) and ascending in the Northern campaign. Presently we are up against the 16th (7th Hebrew letter Zayin) out of 31 kings.

Something happens in the dance, when form and matter seem to unite, the objective and narrative merge. The dance comes from the verge, a place where the triple entendre of the what, who and why are swept up in love. The dance is not egalitarian though, it is functional subordination and a confluence of being delighted in…a true perichoresis! Have you ever been raptured in such love because you lost your sense of self? Maybe you find yourself alone dancing but what happens when the corporate dance begins? What happens when you’re not so internally focused on distraction, your narrative and others reflections that you lose yourself? Oh wow! You’re entering upon the verge and who knows what will happen!

Do you like taking those kind of risks? Most people don’t. Aren’t you tired of it, adjusting yourself to everyone else’s priority, expectations and are saying to yourself…hey self I’m done; I’ve got to let His definition of me be it. He defines and determines my life and He’s a liberator not a manipulator or oppressor. But then you say freedom comes at a price...I might break all the rules? Paul says not to continue in sin as God forbids that but He also wrote Abraham believed God and it was accounted for righteousness. Wait a minute Paul you mean I can move out in the delight of my Father, by virtue of the Son empowered by The Spirit and You count that as righteous and clean me up on the way!

Yes He will and has!

David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment. So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams’ horns.

But look at Michal’s Contempt for David

As the Ark of the Lord entered the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looked down from her window. When she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she was filled with contempt for him.

If you’ve ever been the subject of contempt, its painful both internally and externally. It produces barrenness and leanness of soul...you were called to great double fruitfulness!

This past Sunday was amazing! I wanted to share with you the structure of our worship, maybe it will help you. We are following a Psalms 110 pattern. It's not in the forefront but it lays in the background of what we do.

As I mentioned Sunday Psalms 110 is a chiasm, it is also the most quoted Old Testament section in the New Testament.

A.The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

         B. 2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

                  C. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou                          hast the dew of thy youth.

D. 4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

  C’. 5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

           B’. 6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many                     countries.

A’. 7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

There is so much depth to this and we could spend extensive teaching on it but I wanted you to at least roughly understand that when we worship together at The Collider we are going though this form every week. Roughly I would say that we experience intercession in the first three verses…the triple entendre dealing with the what, who and why, in verse 4 we experience perichoresis, verses 5-6 declaration and verse 7 the Lord’s satisfaction in finding a people He can locate His government in and with.

What happens in the gasp? The realization that something, someone is summing it up...making things clear. You decided to face the deep long term voyage and embrace the darkness. You said I'm not shrinking or shirking anymore. I won't be defined by entitlement or titles; Ive got to be redefined but/and how is that going to work out? You went on the journey, well we all did and we started hearing a new sound and beholding the new dawn.

We hove come to know ourself in light of another Self...namely Jesus! We are getting wrecked and yeah this joy is unspeakable and full of glory and yet we have just begun, we haven't arrived...He is Infinite but so accessible.

Sunday I saw a platform of light and jumped on it and oh man...peace of the Person was there. He said stop asking why, I'm committing a triple entendre. I said Lord what is that? He said let us go beyond the life of doing, the reality of being even the great existential question of why and defining our own reality.

I thought on the other side of this for us can only be You, I Am! I want your double predestination, I want you to determine everything, I want to live out of Your complete delight continuously.

I remembered in the darkness Him saying when I was staring blank 1 at blank 2 walls in a blank 3 state I can't make sense out of the this and asked what are doing Lord? He said, "I'm fracking your tri-subcore." I was like I don't think I've ever read a psychiatrist or psychologist write on three levels/layers of consciousness. Nevertheless I'm sure the Lord knows what He is talking about more than us since He created us. That three and a half years of darkness hurt really bad but it's like I know now why, why we needed exile...why we needed darkness.

Don't shrink, shirk back when He comes and the vacancy hurts...let me tell you go again to Him, He really is there to heal the what, your who and the why, to commit a triple entendre.

At this point want to get into the historical epic literature of Moby Dick with you and the sub-sub librarian in the excerpts section. I want us to delve into Claude Shannon's mathematical theory of communication and introduce Chrysalis to you and especially Rise of Clastronaut....oh there's so much.

Cara and I have been talking and we primarily believe that the Ancient 100 is a qualitative number firstly and a quantitative number second. In my home we say person before position, presence before perfection priest before king. We believe this best models the nature and ministry of Jesus and are constantly challenged by it. One preacher I heard said, the Lord is not looking for a king with a devotional life but priests that rule. Again Jesus consistently models this for us and will set quality over quantity, we want to be faithful to do the same.

Over lunch today Steven Jr and I concluded that the Lord is looking for full participation from us in praise and worship. We decided that coming off the sheet projected music has been a benefit in that we are learning corporately to look only at Him in worship. With that being said we are not against words for a congregational but see how the Lord is directing us to look only at Him. We are having the most wonderful time together and many testimonies are pouring in of what the Lord is doing for those in our midst. We have shifted into a new season...

Sunday we shifted into the vav, the sixth Hebrew letter. There is so much to say about this. You can read Genesis 2:4, Isaiah 22:23 and Ezra 9:8 to grow in your understanding. The vav is very important in the pinning or hooking together of Heaven and Earth. It is foundational in the sense of why we are called The Collider, Where Heaven Meets Earth. What I'm saying is we are entering into a season of living up to our corporate name. Even more so it is important spatially for us in how we live, move and have our being in Him as well as for our households. The vav can be interpreted as a PIN which is an acronym for Parcel Identification Number that is issued with land and homes. See how important the vav is in that it connects us from heavens perspective in the hei (light in the fifth dimension) as individuals, families, our homes, the future safehouses, corporately in our case with the collider, nationally and internationally!
