Despite Lee's cluelessness, we still found a lot to like about "Sine Qua Non." We discuss the significance of a Cylon-Cylon baby, the Quorum's antics, Romo Lampkin's return, and whether Lee is fit for the job.

We also propose a story for what might make a good BSG episode (think "Bushwhacked" from Firefly) and pitch an idea for a new BSG spinoff. We also do a roundup of some of the summer's sci-fi movies.

"Guess What's Coming To Dinner" continues the streak of excellent episodes. Whereas the previous episode had a more singular story, this show masterfully wove together multiple storylines and characters, and most importantly, propelled the story forward.

We praise all the new developments and building momentum, including the fragile alliance, Hera, the opera house, Roslin and Baltar jointly seeing the hybrid, Natalie's fate, and the cliffhanger ending.

After the previous brilliant episode, "Escape Velocity" was a letdown. The episode title was ironic, since the show never seemed to take off, but we try to interpret what seemed to be setup storylines.

We discuss Tigh and Chief's deteriorating mental states, ponder Roslin's fate, and state the case for Tory being evil (and not just "misunderstood").

We felt "The Ties That Bind" was a landmark episode, excellent in execution and full of events that will shape the remaining season. We discuss Tory's transformation into a villainess, the Cylon civil war, and try to ignore the smell on the Demetrius.
