We try to answer the question ‘who am I’ in Khoekhoegowab, only to realise that apart from the question being a challenge, the language is also stubborn. In summary, are you still the same person you were two days ago? What changed? What didnt? Who are you when you are not all the things around you?

I’ve finally decided to put perfectionism aside and start with this podcast, all my flaws and blunders on the table so I discuss around that. The podcast is in Khoekhoegowab to represent the Damara/Nama people who have little media coverage and so I’m working towards putting the language out there so that young Damara/Nama people can have access to material in their own language as well, something that I didnt have as a child, apart from radio and very few films/visuals.
