  • Memoarrr! Review with the Game Boy Geek
My review of this Memory game by Stronghold Games where you’re trying to win treasure! You get to see some cards at the beginning of the game, and when it’s your turn, you need to flip over a card that matches the colored location or the animal of the last card flipped. The last one in the round that didn’t make a mistake wins the round, and some treasure. After 7 rounds whoever collected the most treasure wins.

  • Goodcritters Review with the Game Boy Geek
My review of the latest game in the Dice Tower Essentials Line by Arcane Wonders. It’s an open negotiation game where one player will be the boss each round and distributes loot to all the players. Then negotiation happens about which actions you’ll secretly program. Will you take the loot, but overthrow the boss? WIll you rob others, or maybe just skim some loot off the top of the deck?

  • Illusion Review with the Game Boy Geek
My review of this unique game where you’ll try to estimate what percentage of a card has a specific color in it in relation to other cards already on the table. If you’re right, and get challenged, you win the round! If you’re wrong, the challenger wins the round! Win 3 rounds, and you’ve won the game!

  • Cryptid Review with the Game Boy Geek
My review of this deduction game where you’re trying to be the first to figure out all the clues to where the cryptid monster is. You get a secret clue and you’re trying to find out the others’ clues by asking specific questions to narrow them down. Through deducing what can’t be their clues, you’ll be able to triangulate the spot of the monster. The first one to do that wins!

  • Trapwords Sneak Peek & (Prelude) Mini Review with the Game Boy Geek
My sneak peek & mini review of Trapwords published by Czech Games Edition (CGE) who published codenames and it’s coming out at Essen Spiel in October 2018. It’s a team based party game where you try to get your team to guess a word you’re describing, but the other team sets traps by writing words they think you’ll use. If you step in the trap, you don’t move through the dungeon. The first team to get to the monster and defeat wins!

  • Football Highlights 2052 Sneak Peek & (Prelude) Mini Review with the Game Boy Geek
My sneak peek & mini review of Football Highlights 2052 designed by Mike Fitzgerald and published by Eagle Gryphon Games. It will be on Kickstarter in September 2018. It’s a sequel to the smash hit Baseball HIghlights 2045. Tactically play your multi use cards that have both offense and defense plays on them to stop your opponent from scoring, and to try and score yourself.

  • Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig Review with the Game Boy Geek
My review of Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig published by Stonemaier Games and collaborated with Bezier Games. This is a tile drafting and laying game which is a mash up of Between Two Cities, and Castles of Mad King Ludwig. You’ll be collaborating with your two different neighbors on castles, and you’ll need to make them both the best they can be since your lowest score between the two, is your final score!
