Game Bytes Show

Get your swag bags open and ready to think back on all the old wacky gaming memorabilia you might have hanging around. We're going to talk about this. There's also such news as the restruring of Sony's gaming infrastructure, Donald Rumsfeld's (yes, that one) first game, new Loot Crate gaming edition, a weird pikachu game and more. We also hit up new releases but honestly there isn't much there this week but there is plenty to play right now so no one is complaining right? Intro: "Helldivers Main Theme" - Helldivers, by Johan Lindgren. Outro: "Memories of a Master" - Street Fighter 2, by Captain Hogan (ocremix). SUPER SECRET SPECIAL ENDING: Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Duo announcement trailer

I said hey! What's goin on? For us, we've been playing some games. Jeremy gets stabby with Ronin (not the movie) and beats his friends up over Johann Sebastian Joust, LeGrande tries to wrap his head around the weird camera control in Homeworld Remastered while Dale tries to figure out what the Witness is all about. All that AND MORE as always. Intro: "Breach of Security" - Payday: The Heist, by Simon Viklund. Outro: "Brandenburg Concerto No.6 Movement 3" - Johann Sebastian Joust, by JS Bach (8-bit arrangement by Clark Nichols)

It's Dale's turn to miss a show, but that's ok because Jerod is here to save the day yet again. He steps in to help us discuss all of the news to come out this week. We hit up some new releases and discuss the 2016 video games that we are most looking forward to. Intro: "The Beginning" - Zack & Wiki: the Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, by Shinya Okada & Tadayoshi Makino Outro: "On the Path of Predecessors" - Final Fantasy Explorers, by Tsuyoshi Sekito

LeGrande is back in the saddle today and apparently hasn't been playing much of anything... or has he? Dale continues his journies in the Old Republic as well as playing some quirky 99 cent shooter with dinosaurs. Jeremy... well Jeremy does what Jeremy does best - plays the games that no one else dares to play featuring Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2. Intro: "Killin' Floor" - Rebel Galaxy, by Blues Saraceno. Outro: "Patel Frequency" - Nova-111, by Jack Menhorn

Jerod, Dale, and Jeremy cover the news of the week. Pewdiepie is threatened by our own superhero content squad, the best Half-Life expansion gets a sequel, and we talk about our best-laid plans to play games in 2016! Intro: "Fort Was Robbed" - Dragons Dogma, by Tadayoshi Makino, Inon Zur, Chamy.Ishi, Rei Kondoh. Outro: "Cydonian sky" - Not a Hero, by Dubmood

In this yummy (but not too fattening) episode, we talk about some of the games we sampled this week: Dale continues to find Knights of the Old Republic filling and robust, Jerod mindlessly eats Guild Wars directly out of the package, and host Jeremy orders something new from the menu with Fat Princess Adventures... but is made to taste? Intro: "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" by Barry White Outro: "Nothing But a Pile of Dance Moves!" - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, by NoppZ (ocremix)

AGDQ makes a ton of money, Activision buys MLG, and Sony is still selling lots of consoles - but what's really on our minds (and in our brains) is Virtual Realtiy. The Oculus Rift is now up for pre-order and we have a thing or two to say about it. Intro: "The Shinra Shuffle" - Final Fantasy VII by The Runaway Five (ocremix). Outro: "Virtual Insanity (nuovo rude remix)" by Jamiroquai, remixed by nuovo rude

In our first games we've been playing segment for 2016 we get a little old school with Knights of the Old Republic, a little new old school with Gauntlet (newer edition) and some newer school with Massive Chalice. Intro: "Title Screen" - Gauntlet (2014), by Andreas Kinger & Tonbolaget AB. Outro: "The People's View" & "Timeworn (Main Title)" - Massive Chalice, by Brian Trifon and Brian White

Jerod joins us tooday to talk about the best games we played in 2015. There were lots of them but we have boiled it down to just a few picks each. Intro: "Apocalypse" - Axiom Verge, by Thomas Happ Outro: "Heart of Thorns Theme" - Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns, by Maclaine Diemer

We're back after missing an episode and we've been playing some games. Tune in for some chatter about Elder Scrolls games (all of them... ALL. OF. THEM.), Lego Dimensions and Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time. It's fun for the whole family! Intro: "CCD" - Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, by Ryan Henwood. Outro: "For Blood, For Glory, For Honor" - The Elder Scrolls Online, by Jeremy Soule
