Hey guys! Pull out those pudding pops and sit for a spell while we of the Order 333 podcast entertain your earholes with words about video games.  This week we offer up some talk on new and old topics.  Back up to bat we have Puppeteer, Knack, Bravely Default, Wonderful 101 and new with Xbox Fitness, Strider and Thief with some others mixed in!  Also we answer some fascinating questions like: When does Brandon draw the line on a joke?  When is the horse dead? Has Tom ever played Assassin’s Creed? Jell-o?  All this and more on the next, most exciting, best and most AAA episode yet!

Raining cats and dogs? No. Mechs.  This week Mike, Brandon and Tom all find themselves giddy over the Titanfall beta.  However, despite the shared game experience this week there are still tons of topics left on the table!  Outlast, Last of Us: Left Behind, Bravely Default, Super Monsters Ate My Condo, and more! On the news side of things expect a dash of Twitch Plays Pokemon, the February Nintendo Direct and changes at Irrational Games.

Apparently it’s been a slow week in the Order as we’ve recorded an uncharacteristically shorter episode this week!  However, while it’s a shorter episode this week it doesn’t mean that we are running in low supply of fun!  This week we talk about Outlast, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, Sword of the Stars: The Pit, Bravely Default and more!  Wrapping things up in news we speculate on the upcoming Nintendo Direct and talk about Steam updates and Titanfall!

We have a lot of returning guests this week!  Leslie, Jess and the ever enjoyable BloodRaven make a return to talk about everything and hassle Brandon about his Lego Movie viewing habits.  With so many guests we cruise a long with a bunch of new games being played – and the usual tomfoolery (pun intended): StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, Kingdom Hearts, Phantasy Star Online, Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds, Bravely Default and so much more!

After this week’s episode I think it’s safe to say that we have had a lot of pent up craziness since the first few episodes of the year were full of purpose.  Barely a minute into the episode the brake lines are cut, the stop signs are pulled out, everyone has blue shells and it’s just madness!  That is definitely a slight exaggeration, but we definitely run the full gamut of podcast this week – from a sophisticated discussion about gaming controllers and art all of the way down to casu marzu, which if you don’t know what it is I wouldn’t recommend eating during this episode.  Just a thought!  Don’t worry though we still talk about games and things: Kingdom Hearts, Sherlock, Super Motherlode, Darknet Files, Metal Slug 3, the Dollar Shave Club and it’s all topped off with Samus’ Tales of Retail!

It seems fitting that the 33rd episode of Order 333 is something incredibly special!  This episode features the return of beloved special guests Phil Haymes and Denis Dyack!  The usual episode format is thrown out the window as the group starts off with a discussion on Denis’ recent university talk titled the Video Game Renaissance and then touches on topics throughout the video gaming spectrum including the status of Shadow of the Eternals.  Other topics include: comparisons to the movie industry, cloud gaming, the speculation on what Nintendo’s financial posting could mean for the rest of the industry, the economics of video games, early access games and more!  Do not miss this episode!

This week the Order 333 podcast starts to get back to some normalcy.  Now that 2013 is out of the way it’s time for the crew to buckle into a new year of what they’ve been playing.  Some of of the games talked about this week include: Rogue Legacy, Metal Gear Rising, Papers Please, Virtue’s Last Reward.  Later the crew uncovers a terrible secret – Tom has not seen a lot of classic movies and the first week of bet debt fulfillment.

It’s time to discuss GAME OF THE YEAR!  Mike, Brandon and Tom sit down to discuss a group top ten games of the year.  There is bargaining, betrayal, surprises and tears involved to bring together a unified top ten.  Afterwards the three share their own top ten game lists and move onto predictions for gaming in 2014.

It’s the second part of the Game of the Year Awards!  This part contains: Best Sequel, Best Character, Best Surprise, Best Use of Troy Baker, Things That Need to Stop and Best Moment.

We go into some detail in each game and, as fair warning, if you didn’t use 2013 to play these games and plan to play them at some point please use the nominations at the beginning of each category and the focus point of the award as a deciding factor as to whether or not you should listen to that category.
