We talk about JRPG's, specifically Final Fantasy and Dragon quest, and some RPG's.  How they fare when it comes to turn-based vs action, and how we feel about changes when it comes to the core mechanics of such games.  We also talk about our crippling addiction with FFXIV among other things.

Hey y'all.  Today we talk about how Hollow Knight came to be and how it stands as a metroidvania.  Halfway into the episode we begin our conversations on how we feel about the gameplay, lore, and the other facets of the game.  This is the first part of a two-parter.  Our next episode will be about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Wicho and Rey talk about some games from the resident evil series along with the differences some iterations have to offer.  Specifically the change in POV and fixed vs free camera.  They also talk about their feelings on jumpscares and what makes a game scary to them.
