EP3: We pick up with Ned and his daughters arriving in King's Landing and finding out early that his new job ain't worth a damn. We see Lady Cat sneaking into the city being hid by Littlefinger at his whore house. We also see Cersei giving Joffrey a lesson on ruling a kingdom and laying the seeds of Joffrey's craziness. Over at the wall, we see more of Jon Snow's training and the beginning of Jon and Tyrion's friendship.
EP4: Ned is quietly inquiring about the death of John Arryn while being played by Littlefinger, who leads him to Gendry. This episode is also where we see the beginning of Daenarys starting to realize her power by fighting back to Viserys. Things end with Lady Cat having Tyrion seized at the Inn at the Crossroads for attempting to kill Bran.
