Doom Eternal has been in the works for years since Doom made its triumphant return in 2016 from Id software. Now with more demons, more glory kills, a shoulder mounted flame thrower, and hell arriving on Earth, Doom Eternal looks to take players to brink of whats possible in the FPS genre. Doom Eternal is not like most shooters in that it is a skill based shooter that asks a lot of the player and wants them to get good at the stellar systems in place to make the player feel like the ultimate demon killing machine. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the example of sequel not only done right but also shows what can happen when truly talented developers come together to make something special. While the first outing by Moon Studios was very strong to many you could make an argument that it was bare bones in some respects. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a leap beyond anything bare bones. From the presentation being one of a kind to a much deeper and more intuitive combat system, Ori and the Will of the Wisps is truly a game that deserves high praise.
