There’s no way, even if you live under a rocky mountain, that you couldn’t know about the Super Bowl making a stop in Minnesota.  Our team will be all over the festivities being held in the Twin Cities metro area.  Eric is at the Downtown Minneapolis studio.  Larry may still be in Phoenix, for the moment, but will be heading back in time for all the happenings.  There has to be some reflection on the Vikings’ less-than-stellar performance in the NFC Championship Game.  Other than that, the show looks ahead to the next week-plus of festivities.  Off the field, what will this event mean for the area?  Marketing and public relations expert Bill Robertson joins the program to discuss the impact.

Segment 1: After years of anticipation, the Twin Cities gets another shot at the biggest showcase in sports.  This gives our guys a special chance to reminisce on the more than 60 combined appearances at the NFL’s championship extravaganza.  Unfortunately, the Vikings are not around to be gracious hosts.  What happened to the Purple in Philadelphia?

OK.  Let’s be real.  It doesn’t really matter what the Timberwolves, Wild, Twins, or Gophers did this week.  It’s all about the Purple Horns.  Eric (in downtown Minneapolis) and Larry (reporting in from Phoenix) look at every angle of the Vikings and their path to the NFC Championship.  They take a look back at last Sunday’s “Where Were You” victory over the Saints.  Several members of the team (including co-owner Mark Wilf) react.  Plus, what does the sqaud have left in the tank when they head to Philadelphia?  Tom Tuttle helps us look ahead to a showdown with a Super Bowl berth on the line.

Segment 1: The Vikings are still alive after one of the most incredible victories in the history of sport.  The guys relive an improbable finish that lifted the Purple over the Saints.  Will there be an emotional letdown in Philadelphia?

Segment 2: We know all about the Vikings, but what about the team their playing?  The fellas give their take on the Eagles.  Why are they such a worthy opponent?

Segment 3: What should we expect when the Vikings face the Eagles for the right to head to Super Bowl LII?  Our three-man weave of Eric, Larry, and Tom Tuttle break down the keys for both teams participating in the NFC Championship.

Segment 4: We have to take some time to get reaction to last Sunday’s breath-taking win.  Eric talked with several key constituents in the Vikings’ organization.  That includes co-owner Mark Wilf, who spoke to Eric.  We also hear from LB Anthony Barr and WR Adam Thielen.

Segment 5: There’s more to hear from the Viking players that earned their way to the NFC Championship Game.  In this segment, RBs Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon, as well as DE Danielle Hunter, react to Sunday’s last-second victory.

Segment 6: Our hosts provide some final thoughts on Sunday’s opportunity for the Vikings.  Can they return to the Super Bowl for the first time in over four decades?  And what could it mean if the Purple actually went all the way?
