• Euan finishes Hitman 2 and fails to talk about what The Hex actually is. It's cool though.
• Calum becomes the mobile general in Command and Conquer: Rivals and ganks the mid lane in Artifact. That sounds like a joke, that's a thing you can actually do in that card game.

In The News...

• The Game Awards and the Kinda Funny Games Showcase both happened while we were away, with a long list of announcements and trailers
• Epic Games is the first company to make moves in direct competition to Steam, by launching their own digital PC store with a bunch of exclusives.
• With the demise of the Steam Link hardware, Valve have released a version of the Steam Link software designed to run on a Raspberry Pi
• Alongside Fallout 76 apparently being a poor quality game, the $200 collectors edition also shipped with a poor quality bag when a nice canvas one was promised. This became A THING.
• 2 Milly has officially sued Epic for using his dance in Fortnite with no attribution or payment. I recommend listening to the December 7th Waypoint Radio for a good overview of why this might become a much bigger deal.

• Calum caved to sale pressure and played Destiny 2: Forsaken. He's not proud of himself

In The News...

• The beta for Valve's digital card game Artifact went live at the weekend, and the monetisation structure of the game seems to be surprising people coming from Hearthstone or have never played paper MTG
• Sony have announced they will not be present at E3 2019, and becoming the first "headline" company to pull out of the show altogether.
• Three of the four DLC packs coming for Final Fantasy XV have been cancelled. The one remaining DLC will be out in March next year.
• The Spyro remaster released last week has been received well, except for the fact that it has no subtitles.

• Just when you thought that the phenomenon that is Fortnite couldn't get stranger, people are mobbing electronics stores and loading it on demo Samsungs, just to get a skin.
• Shenmue III has a date, after multiple delays. It's almost exactly a year away.
• Supermassive Games, the devs behind Until Dawn, have announced their new project. It's a series of independent horror titles that they are calling The Dark Pictures Anthology.
• Hitman 2 is getting all of the maps from the first game, updated to use the new mechanics. Also it's free for owners of the old game.
• The Switch port of Swords and Sworcery won't have it's Twitter support that other versions had, because "Twitter is a vat of toxic waste and we want nothing to do with it."
