  • GameHounds Episode 51: Good Girls Don't...
You know how that old song goes: Good girls don't, but I do.
Or in the case of this week, it's "we do." As in, two good girls on this podcast, friends.
This is the fullest -- and longest -- GameHounds episode to date. Joining regular hosts GamerEdie Sellers and Cooper Hawkes are The Married Gamers: Lefty Brown and Mrs. Lefty Brown.
It takes all of about 90 seconds for the podcast to come apart at the seams, but this episode is pure hilarity. Anyone who thinks we're fake... well, getta load of this episode! It doesn't get any more real than this.
In addition to lots of hilarity, the gang talks about the week in gaming news, including:
Take Two's due to "personal reasons."
Eidos execs say the company is No word on who, tho.
Mass Effect and its sequels , says a "fairly reliable source."
A full for a stupid amount of cash.
A to YouTube and other sites.
Fujisoft says it to the Wii.
Random stuff: F.E.A.R 2 demo, Burnout Paradise "Ultimate Box," Zork (yeah, Zork!), Final Fantasy XIII, and other great stuff.

If you really want to understand that title, you're just gonna have to listen.
We'd really like to give you the obligatory cute opening on this one, but it's late for us and we've played too much Left 4 Dead to bother you with ornamental openers.
Instead, we'll do us both a favor and just launch into this week's topics.

  • GameHounds Episode 48: The Best of 2008
It's that time of year again. Namely: The end of it.
And that means a lot of resolutions, lists and maturbatory remixes of past events.
We chose to do the latter.
This Very Special Episode recaps some of our favorite moments from the last year in gaming and of the GameHounds Podcast. Cooper Hawkes and Edie Sellers bypass the week in gaming news -- and let's face it, it was little more than top 10 lists anyway. Instead, they bring you some golden moments of 2008 and discuss what they're expecting for 2009.
There's a little something for everybody.
    Enjoy.

  • GameHounds Episode 47: The Puppy Episode
About five of you get the joke.
Anyway, it's Monday morning. I'm up with fewer than my requisite eight hours. I got a dog that whining to be taken out to piddle. I got a house that looks like a podcast hit it. I have a bare refrigerator. I have no tree nor Christmas presents yet purchased, much less decorated and/or wrapped. Tonight is my Christmas Eve...
    ... and today's my birthday.
So, in order to get this GameHounds episode out quickly and keep you waiting, I'm posting it without show notes. If any of you really can't find the site or want further links, just email me at [email protected] and I'll send you the link.
I know many of you really count on those show notes, but they do take a long time to put together, and I know there's a bunch of you impatiently waiting on this show.

  • Humpate 12-17-08
Wednesday may just be the Jan Brady of weekdays, but it's the Humpday and that makes it special.
Another special thing about this Humpday is that GamerEdie Sellers' co-host this week is listener Heartbreak Ridge, who brings a scholarly edge to the show.
This week, Edie and Heartbreak discuss:
Peter Molyneux offers up a and explains why he made so many of the game choices he did, including the vexing single-save slot. And the reasons aren't what you think. He also offers details on possible upcoming DLC.
    Sony thinks . Maybe so,
Microsoft . Wonder why. (Hint: Rhymes with "Snase Sneraffe"...)
Did Microsoft ? If it did, how pissed would you be?
and prior furor goes down the memory hole.
Errata and Data: HR responds to Commander Tim; Gamerscores are now job requirements; letter from Deadite; the next Metal Gear is...
