July 13, 2009 GameHounds Episode 72: The One With the Bird
A yes. Birds.
Big, loud bluejays. Have I mentioned they're loud?
No, Edie and Commander Tim didn't record this episode in an aviary. It's just that, only after we recorded, did we notice that we had a third host: The bird.
And we also had a bunch of other guests. Because it was another Guest Roulette night due to a scheduling snafu with the Very Special Guests we promised last week. But no worries, we did chat about these topics:
We give away the Dragon Age book. Finally.
Battlefield 1943 is a great game and a .
2K Games .
Hawkes says Tim and I are morons for saying we'd pay for a PS2 emulator for the PS3... Well, he does actually use more colorful language.
Eidos reportedly has and a 90 percent score.
Random stuff, email, voicemail.

July 06, 2009 GameHounds Episode 71: Alpha Proto-Maul
What is Alpha Proto-Maul, you ask? Well, it's a new game in which GamerEdie Sellers, Commander Tim and special guest Hendrix from Superhappyfuntimeshow invite Matthew Rorie of Obsidian Entertainment onto the show and then maul him with questions about the studio's Alpha Protocol.
And boy, is it fun.
Yes, you read that right. Want to find out the deets about what looks to be the heir apparent of Mass Effect (well, if you don't count Mass Effect 2)? This would be your show. And thanks Matthew for being a sport!
In addition, we have the regular line up of GameHounds news, views and commentary, including:
Reintroducing... Chewie Nutshit.

June 29, 2009 GameHounds Episode 70: The Future is Brown
What a weird episode this is.
Other than being unusally long, it's a GameHounds-record number of people on it.
Without Hawkes, Edie Sellers and Commander Tim decide to open up the Skype line to anyone who calls. The result is charming and sometimes hilarious.
In addition to meeting just a few of the GameHounds faithful, Tim and Edie discuss:
VG247 says that
Could ?
Mortal Kombat's .
id Software bought out by ZeniMax, .
Random stuff, thank yous, and guests, guests, guests.

June 25, 2009 Humpdate 6-24-09
Has it really been almost a month since you've heard from the Humpdate?
Yes, yes, it has. But that didn't keep the SportsHound, Maynard's Minute, or the Digital Cowboys idle.
It's the first Humpdate post-E3, so check in with them to find out what they're thinking.
Enjoy.

June 22, 2009 GameHounds Episode 69: Bring the Hate
How is it that an episode with a number synonymous for an extreme act of lovemaking could have so much hate?
But then again, this is the GameHounds. Unfortunately, it's a GameHounds without Cooper Hawkes this week, but in his stead we have Mr. Maynard of the Unknown Gamers of STL and the Humpdate!
This week, Maynard, Commander Tim and Edie discuss:
An Ubisoft forum manager swears that
Bobby Kotick says that he's
Sony tells developers to expect its
Forza 3 Limited Edition. Yeah "limited" really says it all.
Random Shit: Ghostbusters-gate, Choplifter
And an extra special message of universal love from Hawkes.
Enjoy.

June 06, 2009 GameHounds Episode 67: E3 Mopup/F*ck Activision
To borrow the phrasing of Commander Tim, the boss lady is back.
We know those who'd use another description.
The important part is that Edie Sellers is indeed back home and talking about her week down at E3. This is a free-form show with no break — and why would there be with so many games to talk about? To name a few that co-hosts Cooper Hawkes, Tim and Edie discuss:
Escape from Monkey Island
Brütal Legend
Mass Effect 2
Alpha Protocol
Project Natal vs. Sony's motion-control experiment
Tony Hawk Ride
The Last Guardian
Dragon Age Origins
Dante's Inferno
Just Cause 2
Darksiders
Forza 3
God of War 2
Uncharted 2
Alpha Protocol
Scribblenaughts
Star Wars: The Old Repubic
And yes, if you've been following our GameHounds Twitter feed, you know. And yes, we have multiplayer beta codes.
Just sayin'.
