We switch (no pun intended) to the brand-new, motion-controlled Gyro Battle, where we try to get to grips with the tilting and shaking commands to perform both regular moves and Super Arts or Drive Impact/Parry.

Our very first combat with SF6 on the Switch 2, where we enjoyed surprisingly good graphics and the amazing Pro Controller, was with the fearsome demon versus the British fighter.

One of the biggest joys during the Nintendo Switch 2 Premiere event was getting to play the 2003 classic F-Zero GX again, while also taking advantage of the new Gamecube controller for Switch 2 (and its analogue triggers). We turned off CRT mode and sped around the track, reminding ourselves why this is one of the most fun (and difficult) games of its generation.

After completing the Drag X Drive tutorial during the Nintendo Switch 2 Premiere, we slid onto the court to play a quick match in pairs alongside other attendees at the event. Using Mouse Mode is something we'll have to get used to with this game. We lost this time, but we're going to train hard because we're committed to a rematch.
