We take a look at the biggest releases coming in the first month of the New Year.

We fall into the clutches of The Plane Effect, an adventure full of mysteries in which we will have to make our way through its different (and very strange) scenarios in order to return home safe and sound, although they don't make it easy. Crime scenes, destroyed roads, huge creatures that devour us, scenes under the sea... And I'm sure I'm leaving out areas that our poor protagonist has to deal with. We gradually discover details of the character's history and the relationship that certain scenes have with him and his story... Will we end up discovering the mystery? Will he be able to get home? What destiny awaits our protagonist after such an agonising journey?

We wake up after a seemingly long lethargy in our little wooden house in the forest to discover that our old goat friend has been waiting for us for years to solve a problem that is tormenting the whole forest. Well, the typical witch in the woods story. Of course, from so much sleep we have forgotten all the witchcraft recipes we knew and now we have to learn them one by one as we help different forest dwellers and try to find out what exactly is going on in our beloved home. Lots of items to craft, lots of enemies who don't like us to enter their territory, lots of peculiar souls, lots of history and, above all, lots of magic!

The upcoming title from Sonic Team is set to arrive around Holiday 2022, so could November be the exact month?

Shadow of Babel started as a student project and Pemperor Games as an indie studio, and artist Elena told us in Madrid how they plan to finish the roguelite in the upcoming months.

We talk about the project for Riot Forge, which is about "friendship, innocence and hope", and the different aspects that define it, including Willump the fluffy yeti. Besides, we discuss how the studio has been working on many different games with a varied range of partners.
