Games Are Queer

Today we welcome online renaissance woman Alex Zandra (she/her) to talk about game development, streaming, and figuring yourself out.

This week, we welcome trans media critic Violet Adele Bloch (she/her) as we discuss transfeminine issues in gaming, being pigeonholed into talking about queer issues, how much of ourselves we put into our writing, and some very frank and necessary talk about transmisogyny.

Welcome to the Games Are Queer podcast! I'm your host, Jeremy Signor, queer games critic. We're here to give voice to members of the queer games community - queer journalists, critics, streamers, developers - and examine queerness in games wherever it may be - because it's everywhere! This episode, we talk with Kaile Hultner (they/them), the mind behind No Escape, and discuss how queerness enters into their process, the issues surrounding nonbinary characters in games, and how they're bringing in as many perspectives as they can.
