Janet Black is a CrossFit Games masters athlete. She has competed at the Games for seven consecutive years with three podium finishes. Coming into the 2019 season, Black was new to the 45-49 Division and finished 1st taking home another gold medal. Janet has taken top-10 finishes in the Masters Women 40-44 Division each year since 2014 and winning the division in 2015. In 2016, she finished 3rd. Prior to entering the masters division, Black competed with Atomic CrossFit at the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games on a team and at the 2011 South Central Regional. Black has qualified for Regionals for the past eight years as an individual. Black also has three years of individual regional experience under her belt: She took 16th at the South Central Regional in 2012, and continued to compete as an individual at the South Regional in 2015 and 2016 despite having already secured a place as a master at the Games those years. A CrossFit athlete since 2010, Black is a former collegiate and semi-professional soccer player.
