Hello Baby Barbarians - we are wishing you a safe and healthy convention season here from our socially distanced home studios! Today we are covering what conventions look like this year - with many of them choosing to go online. What does this mean? What does this look like? WHAT ABOUT COSPLAY?? We interviewed two of our professional cosplay friends HelloIamKate and MaidOfMight to find out how Corona is affecting their Cosplay Careers. Also stay tuned to the end to hear about Amber’s appearance on John Oliver!

ARE YOU READY FOR SOMETHING SUPER COOL?? Daye & Amber are here to share with you their very own D&D campaign! DM extraordinaire, Elias Thompson, has been recording our session from the start for reference purposes. He and the rest of the campaign members have allowed us to take these recordings and edit them for you ears! (due to this, sound quality isn't as crispy as we'd like it to be - so we apologize - but we know the entertainment value of it all will make up for that!)

This game is 90% of our players FIRST ever D&D campaign.

So without further ado - we present to you, Session 1 of... THE DRAGON SLAYERS

Hello Baby Barbarians, we hope you are staying safe and well. With the recent protests and the Black Lives Matter movement gaining outstanding momentum, we have been taking the time to listen, learn, and reflect. We concluded that without meaning to, we have been living in an echo chamber of mostly white creatives, so we set out on a journey to remedy this in both the podcast and Twitch space. This episode is here to share with you some wonderful Black roundtables, as well as Twitch creatives that deserve more love and support for all their hard work.  Please give it a listen and join us in taking the time to support more Black creatives in all fields ALL year round, not just when it's on the news.

A lively discussion to be sure! Listen as Daye and Amber discuss games that they didn't think they'd enjoy, but ended up liking...maybe even... loving! They also get in a fight over the new The Last of Us Playstation bundle. It's quite hilarious. Buckle up because your favorite loud-mouthed nerds are here for you weekly hangout.

If you had to recast your family with video game characters, who would you choose? Amber and Dayeanne get to the bottom of that age old question in this weeks episode! Listen as they describe which characters from various video games would make the best family members and why. Not only that, but they each create a family of "non-human" characters as well, because this episode wasn't weird enough already.  If you find yourself casting your own family as you listen along, please feel free to let the ladies know your choices on Twitter or Instagram!
