Time to go back to 1997 and re-enjoy Midway Games' Doom 64. Originally released around the launch of the Nintendo 64 console, this was the first stand alone Doom title made specifically for a gaming console. Join us as we look at this game, underappreciated in it's time, and find out why, all these years later, this game is so much fun.

Welcome to the no frills, no bells, no whistles version in the return of Gaming Under Fire. This is my introduction of myself, where the podcast has been, and where I hope it will go! And I hope that journey will involve you! Our first ACTUAL episode will be a retrospective and discussion around the FPS that started it all, 1993's DOOM (or 95's Ultimate DOOM if you wish). If you have any fun and fantastic memories involving playing DOOM back in the day (even if your first game of DOOM was yesterday) I want to hear it!
