It may be the middle of the module, but the players never really gave me a lot of info on where their characters came from. My wife and I played the new ttrpg The Secret World based on the video-game by Funcom. The 5e compatible role-playing game was made by Star Anvil Studios. The kickstarted funded and I was a backer, I got all the stuff and I really wanted to play it.

Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses. For the PC's this means getting armor, and talking to their mentor, as well as trying to track down someone who left a letter asking for help. Also, there were some croissants in there somewhere. So at least some actual rest. Kind of.
