For our third episode of Culture Club, our host, friend and journalist Marjon Carlos is joined by L.A. artist Sonya Sombreuil. Sonya, who is also the owner of offbeat independent label COME TEES, designed an exclusive capsule of limited edition GANNI tees to celebrate the launch of our debut book GANNI: Gimme More. Join the two as they discuss the differences between the New York and L.A. art scenes, finding inspiration in testing times, and why designing puts Sonya “in the world in so many ways that a painter doesn’t”.

For our second episode of Culture Club, our host, friend and journalist Marjon Carlos is joined by gallery owner Lucy Chadwick. Lucy is a big name in the art scene– after cutting her teeth at Tate Britain, then moving on to become the former gallery director at Gavin Brown's Enterprise an art gallery in New York City and Rome. Lucy was born in Britain into a creative family,  but is a real New Yorker at heart, however she recently traded the streets of Brooklyn for rural Southern France. Listen in to hear Marjon and Lucy catch up on how they've been getting their culture fix this past year and Lucy's new venture– opening an art gallery in her new home hometown in France.

For our first episode of Culture Club, I’m joined by Theresa Chromati. Theresa is an up-and-coming Brooklyn artist whose surrealistic and glittering paintings of Black women are taking the art world by storm. Her work has been exhibited in the Whitney Biennial and she currently has a show up at the Delaware Contemporary. She’s a multi-sensory storyteller, making mixed-media work that moves, shakes, and expresses the depth of female bonds, among other personal and universal tales. We catch up about moving during lockdown, her inspiration and what is helping her unwind right now.

For our ninth episode of “How are you?” we’re checking in with London-based journalist, Pandora Sykes. We've known Pandora for a while and met a few summers ago in Copenhagen at our show and she’s been a friend ever since. After becoming a mom of two in December, Pandora has not slowed down. She’s back co-hosting one of our favourite podcasts ‘The High Low’ - recording remotely with her friend Dolly. She’s also been busy getting her first book published ‘How Do We Know We’re Doing It Right?’ out in July. Pandora is one of our favourites for a straight up chat. So who better to catch up with on the current affairs and how to ride out a pandemic at home with two kids.

For our eighth episode of “How are you?” we’re checking in with ex New Yorker now LA-based actress Dree Hemingway. We met Dree last summer in Copenhagen through a friend. She was visiting for the opening of the Danish artist Jesper Just’s solo exhibition “Servitudes”.  Dree stole the show starring in one of Jesper’s films. But she also stole our hearts with her warm and open mind and her straightforwardness. After meeting her for the first time we ended spending the afternoon together and carried on into dinner. She’s the kind of person you can hang out with for hours talking about nothing and everything, because she is not afraid of being honest and imperfect.

For our seventh episode of How are you?, we are calling up original GANNI Girl Camille Charriere. The london-based parisienne hosts her own podcast  called ‘Fashion No Filter’ - and with her 880K Instagram followers, Camille most definitely is an industry name to reckon with. We first met Camille back in the summer of 2014 at our first ever show on a secret tennis court in Copenhagen nd our friendship has grown over the past 6 years. Camille is always the first to join Ditte when dancing on tables. But don’t be mistaken by her social savvy appearance - she is just as capable of having an honest heart to heart when you are feeling down.

For our sixth episode of How are you, the tables have turned and we’re calling up Podcast host of “Wardrobe Crisis”, Clare Press. Clare was the first ever Sustainability Editor at Vogue Australia  and holds an impressive number of Advisory Board seats in organisations like Fashion Revolution, Global Fashion Agenda and Copenhagen Fashion weeks’ Sustainability board. With Clare, the conversation is never dull when talking about the inherent contradiction of fashion and sustainability.

For our fifth episode of How are you, we are calling up New York-based model, activist  and artist Richie Shazam. Richie is a leading voice on culture, fashion and gender. A Queen’s native, known for being an extremely kind, open and honest person. Last time we saw Richie was in LA, when he co-hosted a party with us at the Dresden, to celebrate the opening of our two first stores in the US. Right now that seems like a memory  from a different world.

For our fourth episode of How are you? we’re calling up journalist, editor and public speaker Marjon Carlos. Texas-born Marjon lives in New York and has worked as Arts Editor for Solange’s Saint Heron platform and as Senior Fashion Writer at Vogue.com before stepping out as a freelance journalist.  We got to know each other better when Marjon came along for a ride with us on our GANNI Ticket To Ride Tour across the U.S last year and showed us her hometown of Dallas and then again in Copenhagen earlier this year for our 202020 show. Marjon always offers an honest read on the current times while drawing on cultural as well as personal perspectives to understand the things we are living through.

For our third episode of How Are You, we’re checking in with the talented LA-based, British-born, ex New Yorker Kate Foley.  Kate’s a multi-hyphenate creative, with a background in buying, creative consultancy and recently styling through her new agency “Studio &” where she dresses the likes of Alexa Demie and Adwoa Aboah. Aside from that she is a good friend, great host and amazing cook!  As we dial in to speak with Kate we reminisce about good times when we last visited her and Max - sipping margaritas and eating tacos on their terrace in Hollywood Hills while our kids were splashing around in the pool.
