Paida karte raho jhamela

Ta ke zahn bhi bekaar na ho

Na baney sukun ka woh aashiyaan,

Tasalli na miley kisi ko kabhi

Aate rahen armaan pe armaan

Armaanon ki qataar taweel hai

Lambi woh aasmaanon talak

Tabhi shayad deewaana insan

Sukoon dhundta hai saraabon talak

Baaten karo daanishmandi ki

Harkaten sab shaitaanon ki

Yehi hai tamasha yahan ka aaj ‘sahil’

Insanon ki nahin duniya
