In this episode garden designer Rachel Mathews discusses how to correctly position garden statues, sculptures and focal points. You can see the rest of her interview with artist and author Kitty Harri in the Andalusian sculpture garden in Otivar near Granada in Spain.

Rachel will then give you her tops tips on positioning focal points from a garden designer's perspective. She'll show you how you can make your garden look bigger and more interesting by the correct placement of the focal points you use.

In this episode of Garden Design Show, Rachel will tell you all about how you can incorporate fruits and vegetables into your garden using stunning tips and tricks regardless of what size your garden has. She is bringing in an expert, a broadcaster and the best selling author of "Year-Round Vegetable Gardener", Niki Jabbour.

They will also discuss Niki's new book called "Groundbreaking Food Gardens". To get you even more interested, Rachel will go through the details about the fruit producing modern courtyard she designed that is in Niki's book!

They will discuss how much a lot of people are interested in a fruit and vegetable producing garden. Another interesting topic you will also learn about is the Cocktail Garden plants where you can grow things you like to drink.

You will be surprised what berries and edible flowers you can add to your salads that came straight from your fruit and vegetable garden. They will also talk about pollinators and wildlife, the natural side of the garden and the flowers that attract the pollinators and how you can keep them. Identify good bugs that will help you grow your fruit and vegetable garden or herb garden.

You will also see a sneak peak of Rachel's design on the fruit and vegetable producing garden, which looks very modern and no one would think that it's food producing.

The book also features a concrete and steel garden, a good way to use recycled materials and concrete is ideal for some plants.

Before they wrap things up, Rachel asks Niki on what her advise is for people who are starting to build their own gardens and suggestions on vegetables and herbs you can mix in your garden plants.

In this video, you will learn how to transform your front garden. Professional international, garden designer, Rachel Mathews, will show you how to plan front garden design ideas in a number of ways.

She will talk about 2 types of front gardens, the purely decorative and the practical ones that incorporate a drive. You will learn front garden ideas on how to landscape these 2 separately and she will also let you in on a golden rule when planning to design your front yard, particularly for gardens that incorporate a drive. This will guide you to creating a much more interesting front garden.

Some of the gardens featured in this episode will show you how you can improve your front garden space to accommodate car parking capability and at the same time keeping the look of the front garden design pretty and tidy.

Front gardens don't have to be fancy and you don't have to spend a lot of money to build it. She will discus how one simple dominant shape of lawn can tidy up the look of your garden and how to make it work well with the look of the house and also how to tie up your garden's landscaping to your surrounding area.

Also, this episode featured food producing front garden which should give you design ideas for your own front yard regardless if it's just a very small space. Another front garden Rachel featured is one that is low maintenance, where she made use of a simple wire fence.

She will also be out and about to show you different styles of front gardens and share her thoughts and give you pointers about how it can be improved. In this part of this episode, Rachel will talk about focal points in your front garden and how other elements of your garden should tie in to it.
