This week we continued our discussion of spiritual warfare. This week we focused on what can be an uncomfortable topic: Satan and demons. What does the Jesus say about Satan? What do we find when we look at other places in the bible? What does this mean for us in our daily life?

This week we talked about spiritual warfare and the battle between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of God. Paul, in Ephesians 6, tells us that there is an unseen spiritual world that exists alongside our physical world.

This week we talked about the last eight chapters of the book of Acts, which tell the story of Paul's journey to Jerusalem and his subsequent trials and hardships. Despite knowing the dangers that awaited him, Paul was compelled by the Holy Spirit to go to Jerusalem. Despite the warnings and difficulties, Paul remained faithful to God's calling. He was eventually arrested, forgotten in jail for two years, shipwrecked, and bitten by a poisonous snake. However, even in these challenging circumstances, Paul found joy in spreading the good news of God's love and grace.

This week we finish Acts 20 and dive into Pauls goodbye to the Elders in Ephesus. We unpack more about what it means to be a missionary.

Do you feel like you get enough encouragement? How are you at giving encouragement? This week we discussed the importance of encouragement in the life of a follower of Jesus, using examples from the apostle Paul's actions in the book of Acts.- Encouragement is a crucial aspect of the Christian faith and should be practiced by believers.- Encouragement means walking alongside someone to build them up, not flattery or false praise.- Encouragement is doing the work of the Holy Spirit, while discouragement is doing the work of Satan.- Practical ways to encourage others include celebrating small steps of growth, noticing when things go right, and seeing the potential in others that they may not see in themselves.

This week we had Rick Theriot join us and share from Acts 19. We talked about what it looks like to live a missional life and have a meaningful impact on our community.

This week Dr. Josh Ellis joined us and spoke about what it means to be a missionary ambassador for Christ. We looked at the story of Jonah and 2 Corinthians.

This week we talked about making space for God to work in our lives. Sometimes that means saying no to things that matter so that we have time for what matters most.

This week was FAMILY SUNDAY! We talked about David and Goliath and what that story tells us about Jesus.

This week we looked at Acts 18. We saw some of the early disciples and how they interacted with each others. Through this we can find several characteristics of disciples of Jesus.
