Sometimes small things can mean the most. So was the case with this week's Red Sox instigated "short" show.

Interviewed this week is Peter Geiger, editor of the Farmer's Almanac (the one with the bright orange cover). Just skimmed the surface of this year's edition. The Farmer's Almanac, for those that don't know, is a yearly periodical chock full of useful and musing information. A listener sent in a 15-year-old seed! We'll have to wait and see what happens. The staff critiques Len's homemade ketchup and chili sauce. 

New to the show, recognizing your backyard birds by their songs. Perfect for the medium of radio, since the pictures don't broadcast that well. First birds up this week, the Common American Crow and the Fish Crow. Which bird is actually more common than you might think?
