On November 1st, Gardendale Church of the Nazarene celebrated our 50th Anniversary. It was a great Sunday of celebration. Dr. Steve Hoskins from Trevecca Nazarene University challenged us to remember who we are and to order our steps.

We wrap up our series today on The Ten Commandments. This is the only commandment that is repeated- "You shall not covet."

10.11.15. Why do we have The Ten Commandments? Many answer, "They tell us what not to do." Yes, but there is a deeper reason. The Ten Commandments tell us who God is. They proclaim a God who loves His people.

10.4.2015. Life is a gift from our Creator and all that we are comes from Him. The problem arises when we lose sight of this fact. This struggle goes all the way back to the Fall.

09.27.15– "You shall not commit adultery." This commandment seems straight forward enough. When we look deeper, we see a beautiful relationship that God has called us to– a relationship that is modeled after His love for us.
