The year of this sermon was 1993 - the very beginning of the Clinton Administration in the US. Listening to the sermon content as to the world outlook, the economic and military challenges for the West, not just the US, Garner Ted Armstrong, if he were alive, could have been talking about NOW Obama, The EU, the Middle East (once again on the brink of a major regional war. But we know conditions are actually worse now than in 1993 - the downward spiral of world conditions continues apace - just as Bible prophecy strongly suggests it will until finally ten nations in Europe will unite under 'The Beast" and Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies (Matt. 24)So here is a foretaste of the trials ahead - not just for God's church but the entire world.
