This Sunday is the "Super Bowl Sunday" of the Christian church year - Easter Sunday! This day we celebrate the most amazing historical fact of all time - that Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God, was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead. This fact can change our lives forever. Come and sing hallelujah and rejoice with us that Jesus is risen, He is risen, indeed!

Welcome to the start of Easter Week! We focus this Sunday on remembering Jesus, riding into Jerusalem on a donkey, while people laid down palm branches and shouted, "Hosanna!" Let's get ready to worship our King this week.

We conclude our study of the Pillars of Lent this week as we look at how to strengthen these pillars in our own lives - prayer, giving, and fasting. Is our foundation strong and level? Or is our building lopsided? Let's draw close to God as we grow our faith and our walk with Him.

After looking at the practice of giving last week, this week we'll look at the practice of prayer as we continue our Lent series. Jesus taught His disciples how to pray. The Lord's Prayer is perhaps the single most repeated prayer, regardless of denomination. This Sunday, Rolisa Tutwyler will bring a different set of lenses through which we might view this familiar model prayer.

After looking at the practice of fasting last week, this week we'll look at the practice of giving as we continue our Lent series. Jesus had a lot to say about giving to others -- and importantly, he focused not only on the act of giving to others but also how we should give and why we should give. We'll explore that this Sunday and learn how giving to others can help us connect more deeply with Jesus and create space for God to shape us to be more like Him.

Welcome to the season of Lent! We are going to be building a strong foundation for our faith as we look at the three traditional pillars of Lent: prayer, fasting, and giving. Join us for this holy season!

We bring our study of the book of John to a close this week as we look at John 20-21, the culmination of the gospel and the resurrection of Jesus! Praise God, He is alive!
