The knowing arrived, as it always does, fully formed and slightly startling, like a bird that has flown in through an open window and is now just sitting there on the furniture, entirely certain it belongs.Miranda has an insight. It is genuine, it is individual, and it arrived from somewhere she couldn't point to on a map. The question — and Miranda is working on this, she really is — is whether the room is ready to hear it yet.
