God fulfilled His promise to Abraham to give him a son, even in his old age. But this son would in time need a Deliverer, just as everyone does still. God has never left humanity without a means of deliverance and reconciliation back with Himself. This was not a perfect fulfillment, but the first part of the fulfillment. God is faithful.

Do not give up on your love or respect for your spouse. Give them what they need, and the reward is that you will get what you need. We do the service for our spouse not because we have to, but because of our relationship with Christ. We serve our spouse out of love and devotion to Christ. Do not give up doing right to your spouse, even if they do wrong.

God is looking for a church whose success is Christ, not works.

In order for the wife to have emotional closeness with the husband, there is a physical need of the husband. When this need is met, it helps the husband to meet the wife's need. --Also, when the husband meets the need of the wife to be esteemed, then she will meet his physical need. The emphasis in marriage is to meet each other needs- thus showing respect for the husband and love to the wife.

The day of the Lord is a period encompassing the Tribulation, Christ's Second Coming, and the Millenium. It has immediate implications for the Tribulation. It will be a terrible time during the Tribulation, so come to Christ now to be spared God's judgment.

There are blessings to choosing to obey the Lord, and their are harsh consequences to resisting and rebelling against God's Word. Abram was blessed by God, and Lot vexed his soul. Abram was greatly rewarded for his faith, Lot loathed his choices. The aim of our life is to choose to follow God.

The Tower of Babel was humanity's decision to not obey the Lord's command to populate and cultivate the earth. There was a decision to make the first non-religious god. The sad part is that even Noah and his son's did not speak up about this atrocious defiance against God.

A husband desires for his wife to experience life with him, and this does not always entail talking, but just being with him. Wives need to know that their husbands are loyal to them, and to no one else. This is why it is imperative that both spouses work on understanding each other.
