God loved the world so much that he gave. He gave his son, Jesus, to show us what love looks like and, ultimately, to love us completely. When we look at the words and actions of Jesus we learn what it means to love and when we imitate Him, we give the weary world a reason to rejoice.

When I understand my sin and God’s grace, the natural response is to say “Send Me” when God asks who will go.

One of the most dangerous prayers we can pray is, "Lord, break me." But when we pray for brokenness, God is able to do more in us, for us and through us than we can imagine. If we will let him, God will take our brokenness and turn it into a blessing.

We don't really know ourselves as well as we think we do. But when we are willing to pray honest prayers, God reveals to us the reality of our heats and he invites us to follow him into a new reality. It all starts when we begin to pray, "search me, God."

Everyone wants to be comfortable, but when we turn comfort into a neon god, it destroys our relationships, distorts the Gospel and kills our spiritual life. The only way to kill the idol of comfort is to embrace the cross of Jesus.

Money - or at least the love of money - is a sneaky idol that's hard to identify and harder to kill in our lives. But when we take the Gospel of Jesus at face value, greed dies and we are set free.

For members of the Kingdom, Heaven is more than just a place we go to when we die. Heaven is a kingdom Jesus is establishing and inviting us into right now.
