The fruit of the Spirit is SELF CONTROL. Self-control is on the Fruit of Spirit List. Which means there’s freedom somewhere in it. The Bible tells us that for Freedom Christ has set us free: not for drudgery and pointless piety. Every fruit of the spirit makes our lives richer, more powerful.

The fruit of the Spirit is GENTLENESS. Gentleness is at the very essence of who Jesus is.  It’s a fruit of His life that is so apparent in His dealings with others.

The fruit of the Spirit is FAITHFULNESS. Sometimes it can seem like faith is this thing that we have to obtain and hold onto for dear life; But Faithfulness is not something that we create within ourselves but, rather, something that we learn from God our Father.
