Gauss-Podcast - Mein Studium in Deutschland / Gauss-Podcast: My Studies in Germany

The apartment-hunting in Braunschweig is a big problem nowadays. If you're lucky enough, then you can stay at the dorms of the Studentenwerk. However, it's often hard to imagine how life at the dorms looks like, especially if it's your first time studying abroad. Hussain and Andrés talk about this topic based on their buddies' experience.

Coming to a new country for your studies without knowing the language represents a huge challenge. Evelyn (USA), Damini (India) and Hussain (Pakistan) talk about different aspects of daily life and the language barriers they had to encounter.

Evelyn (USA) came last winter semester to spend a year as an exchange student and now shares her experience from the preparations at her home university to her departure.

Bonus in English: Hussain tells us about the problems he faced with the Immigration Office in Braunschweig.

Today Lena gives us an overview of the first bureaucratic procedures students have to do upon arrival and tells us about her experience in the Gauss Buddy Program as well as the First Steps Program.
