This week Sofia has Amanda back to tackle part two of LGBTQ+ travel! We are joined by Courtney The Explorer, and she shares all her insight from traveling the world as a lesbian. First, we talk about how Courtney is considered a “late in life” lesbian and her queer journey. Then we talk about what it was like for her to travel through Portugal, hike the Camino trail through Spain, and she shares her thoughts on the gayborhoods in those countries. Then we talk about her recent trip to Egypt, and what it was like to travel as a lesbian in a country that criminalizes homosexuality. We get into a fun tangent about zodiac signs and lastly, we finish up by talking about the lack of gay spaces that cater specifically to gay women.
