Having been invited to a gay house party by a friend in my late twenties, I had a lot to learn.  At the same time, in my life the spiritual, emotional, physical and sexual all blend together to make up who I am on this spiritual journey.

As we shop for ingredients for our Thanksgiving family feast, it reminds us that the spice our Creator added into our recipe of human sexuality as Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender is of most importance.

From experience, I know that if I tune myself in, God does speak through others sending me life changing messages.

My Nephews loved watching scary, horror movies and there was only one left on the video store's shelf they had not watched. That movie turned out to be a jaw-dropping education that remains with them to this day.

TRANS are Individuals who have a different gender identity or gender expression than their sex assigned at birth.  My personal acquaintance was like watching the birth of a butterfly.

Today as a senior gay man, I can honestly say I would not change a thing about how my Creator made me in seasoning my life with my gay sexuality.

During my spiritual journey from childhood through an adult, I finally discovered the answer as to what proves I am a gay man.

Our own time is the greatest spiritual gift we can given anyone: not money, not expensive gifts, but it is giving up our time for someone else without looking for anything in return.

Of all the jobs and career positions I have ever worked as a gay man,  working at a hospital emergency room placed me closest to my God.

My Toupee or hairpiece disappearance would eventually rid me of vanity along my spiritual journey.
