The daddies are back—and this time they’re hungry, stranded at sea and breaking badly.
In Bite Me Daddy, Andrew and Jason try The Domino, Domino’s new personal-sized Detroit-style pizza. Does it deliver the crispy, cheesy edges that define Detroit-style pizza, or is it simply Domino’s pan pizza wearing a Michigan costume?
Next, Daddy Duel takes to the high seas with Sail, Allplay’s cooperative two-player trick-taking game. The daddies must navigate dangerous waters, avoid obstacles and battle a Kraken—all without discussing the cards in their hands. Will they sail to safety or discover that silent cooperation is harder than it looks?
Finally, Daddy Culture Club dives into Netflix’s Untold: Raygun — Breaking Badly. The documentary gives Australian Olympic breaker Rachael “Raygun” Gunn a chance to tell her side of the story after her infamous Paris performance turned her into a worldwide meme. Did it change the daddies’ opinions, or does the film dance around its most difficult questions?
Welcome to the first episode of Dueling Daddies, the bite-sized Gaymer Daddies spin-off where two daddies square off over food, a two-player board game and a piece of pop culture. Each contender receives a letter grade before we reveal our final Daddy Report Cards.
In this episode:
• BITE ME DADDY — We taste Jimmy John’s new PB&J Cookie, a soft-baked peanut butter cookie filled with grape jelly and topped with crunchy peanuts. Does this childhood favorite deserve a spot in our lunchbox, or should Jimmy John’s stick to sandwiches?
• DADDY DUEL — We go undercover with Agent Avenue, a two-player game of bluffing, deduction and double-crossing. We break down how it plays, what makes its face-up-or-face-down card choices so tense and whether this neighborhood is big enough for both of our spies.
• DADDY CULTURE CLUB — We head back to summer camp for Jane Schoenbrun’s Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. This queer, surreal and blood-soaked reimagining of the summer-camp slasher gives us plenty to sink our axes—and our opinions—into.
Which contender earns the highest grade? Who makes the honor roll, and who is getting sent back to summer school? Grab your Daddy Report Card and find out.
Dueling Daddies is a Gaymer Daddies spin-off featuring fast, funny reviews of food, two-player board games and the latest movies, television, video games and pop culture.
Pack the bug spray, stay out of the woods and never trust a camp counselor—the Gaymer Daddies are heading to Camp Grizzly!
Andrew, Jason and Jacob explore the idea of “grail games”: the rare, expensive and out-of-print titles that board gamers dream of adding to their collections. Andrew shares why Camp Grizzly has been at the top of his list since its original 2013 Kickstarter campaign—and how the game’s fulfillment problems, missing expansions and limited availability turned it into one of board gaming’s most infamous collector’s items.
Then the daddies put the new Second Edition from Trick or Treat Studios through the SERVE review and reveal their final Daddy Scores.
In this episode:
• A Quickie with Jason
• Why summer camps make such great horror settings
• The troubled history of the original Camp Grizzly Kickstarter •
• How to play Camp Grizzly
• The official SERVE review and Daddy Scores
The Gaymer Daddies are back from summer vacation and ready to return to the table.
Andrew just got back from cruising through Europe. Jacob recaps his trip to Origins Game Fair, including the games, discoveries and convention experiences that stood out. Then Jason puts the daddies to the test with a new Blind Ranking Quickie. They must rank five mystery selections before knowing what is coming next, with categories ranging from television shows to U.S. presidents. Will they create the perfect list, or regret their choices almost immediately?
For the main event, the daddies review The Game Makers, a board game about designing, developing and publishing games of your own. They break it down through the official SERVE Review—before comparing their final Stance score with the BoardGameGeek community rating.
Plus, the daddies share what they would like to see in a future expansion or sequel.
Happy Pride🌈 from Gaymer Daddies! In our first Pride Month episode, we review Beyond the Sun, designed by Dennis K. Chan and published by Rio Grande Games.
We kick things off with Pride reflections, reveal Andrew’s secret Pride flag Easter egg hidden in recent episode artwork, and Jason leads a Pride-themed Quickie,
Then we get into the real game: a highly regarded civilization-building strategy game centered around one of the best technology-tree systems in modern board gaming. We talk about tech trees, Rio Grande Games, Dennis K. Chan’s design background, the Leaders of the New Dawn expansion, and why celebrating LGBTQ creators matters even when the game itself is not LGBTQ-themed.

The Daddies are back for a special Survivor bonus episode, and the tribe has opinions.
Andrew, Jacob, and Jason break down the Survivor 50 finale with a full Stance review covering the cast, twists, challenges, rewards, final three, jury reactions, and the overall legacy of the season. Before diving into the review, they recap their night at Pizza Lobo, where DJ Jerri Manthey joined a Survivor event hosted by ShutUp Queen with Survivor drag queens and a room full of fans ready to celebrate, debate, and process the finale together.
Jason leads a Survivor Quickie, Andrew covers Survivor news from around the world, and the group reviews the final results of their Survivor draft game, where Andrew would like the record to show that he correctly picked the top three. The Daddies also pitch ideas for new twists, idols, and advantages before ending with a little surprise that may lead to a future board game review.
Grab your buff, protect your vote, and prepare for a finale discussion full of strong opinions, questionable strategy, and just enough Jeff Probst to make it worth playing for.
This episode is a full snack plate. The Daddies serve up a special Girl Dinner threeway with mini reviews of three food-and-drink board games: Charcuterie, Fromage, and Viticulture. Andrew brings the appetizer with Charcuterie, Jacob cuts into the cheese course with Fromage, and Jason pours the wine with Viticulture.
Before the reviews, the Daddies celebrate Mother’s Day by talking about games they would play with their moms, mothers, or mother figures, then Jason delivers a bite-sized Quickie. Since this is a food episode, each Daddy also pitches an original food-themed board game.
In this episode:
• The true meaning of Girl Dinner
• What board games belong at the Mother’s Day table
• Jason’s snackable Quickie • Original food board game pitches from each Daddy
• Three final Stance scores for three very different food games
Join the Daddies for a three-course board game tasting menu where nobody cooks, everyone grazes, and somehow it still counts as dinner.
This week, the Daddies enter the coop for our review of Flock Together — the cooperative boss battler where brave little chickens team up, level up, and fight off predators before the final season ends.
Andrew, Jason, and Jacob talk through what makes co-op games so fun, what makes them occasionally feel like a group project with dice, and whether Flock Together delivers enough strategy, charm, tension, and table presence to earn a proud Daddy score. Along the way, we celebrate the game’s gorgeous artwork by Andrew Bosley, pitch some deeply unserious celebrity chicken names for future expansions, and take a quick look at board game award season with a few titles that keep popping up on nomination lists.
In this episode:
Grab your chicken fingers, fluff your feathers, and get ready to flock around and find out.
The Daddies lace up their imaginary hiking boots and head into the wilderness for a review of PARKS, the stunning board game inspired by America’s national parks. Joined by special guest Kate, a former park ranger, Andrew, Jason, and Jacob dig into the beauty, history, and gameplay behind one of the most beloved modern board games. Along the way, they talk real national park facts, Earth Day, the Pride flag’s connection to nature, Keymaster Games’ commitment to giving back, and why this game feels so much bigger than just collecting tokens on a trail. It is a scenic journey through gorgeous artwork, clever design, and the eternal truth that cardboard nature is often preferable to actual bears.
In this episode:
From mountains and monuments to meeples and moose, this episode is a love letter to nature.
This episode is rated (4)X. The Daddies blast off into the world of empire-building, galactic conquest, and one extremely complicated board game with a review of Voidfall — the heavy sci-fi 4X game that took more than nine hours to learn and play. Along the way, the conversation drifts through spring pop culture, Jason’s Quickie turns into an April Fool’s joke on Andrew that nearly backfires, and all three Daddies go from dreading this giant space odyssey to genuinely admiring just how smart, brutal, and satisfying it can be. It is a long journey through stars, suffering, and strategy — but somehow, the Daddies come out the other side surprisingly into it.
