The songs that say there is power in the blood or the cross are right. Jesus accomplished incredible things in his suffering and death. He paid the penalty for sins which has personal value for us. His plan had so many implications for people, heaven, and earth, and across eternity that it had to be kept secret until the powers of darkness were defeated.

The enemy may be disguised and join us at the table, but have a dangerous agenda. As followers of Jesus, we must be aware and ready for the deception that may come and be prepared to defend ourselves and others against the dark powers. On Sunday, April 6 the next sermon in the series is Defense Against the Dark Powers 101.5.

Remarkably, God uses flawed people as spiritual leaders for his people. He knows the risks, the potential for failure, dysfunction, and dishonor, and yet chooses to use this method for the good of his people and his glory. Much can be gained by God's leaders serving well. They threaten the kingdom of darkness, which cannot be allowed by the powers of darkness. Heaven is the real real, and there are copies of heaven on earth. Moses entered the heavenly portal on Mount Sinai to see what he was supposed to do on earth.

Jesus is the incredible Son of God who has made life possible for those who turn to him, and he has supernatural agents working on our behalf.

Prayer is a standard part of religious activity. From a Christian perspective, it is about a relationship and communication with God. Some prayers are as simple as "Save me," and others become practiced and repeated as a congregation in worship services. Private prayers become more personal and a usual aspect of a person's devotional life. But there is the prayer that alters the world we live in, shakes the unseen realm, and invites the power of heaven to invade Earth. That is Preeminent Prayer. On Sunday, Preeminent Prayer will be revealed.

Jesus's followers are unique; they are humans with a divine alteration and new creations in Christ. As such, they are to be experiencing and exhibiting the Kingdom of God on earth. The Lord's Prayer emphasizes that God's Kingdom comes, and his will be done on earth as in heaven. That is important. But there is more happening in the heavens that influence things on earth, and Christians must know what is going on and how to live so that God's will is done on earth as it is in heaven.
