G&C Sports Talk

We shout out the Olympic Athletes specifically the  USA Athletes. With the preseason of the NFL kicking off: analysis are made, predictions begin, and dislike rears its ugly head lol. We can't get off the cast without speaking about the tremendous NBA draft and what we can expect to see at the NBA Summer League.

We open the show addressing Simone Biles: the weight of the world, her mental health, and the use of mental health in general by society. We weigh in on the sad truth of Reggie Bush not getting his Heisman trophy, and how this relates to the FAB 5 situation that took place in the 90's. trophy. We speak on some of the biggest updates in the NFL with training camps beginning. NBA Draft is July 29th and there is an abundance of talent coming out. It's amazing where the talent is coming from and we can't wait to see what team they land on.

We give the new NBA champs the Milwaukee Bucks the praise and props for traveling on this long road. We talk about the MVP on the courts, and the ones who get our seal of approval. Also have to highlight all the haters, those who simply don't like certain peoples game, and just certain players who may not ever win but helped drive this person to get to this point. Highlights include MMA, NFL football predictions, and what is next in the sporting world.

We begin the show with Rachel Nichols comments last year for the 2020 NBA Finals regarding fellow colleague Maria Taylor  (color of her skin, even though they are both female). Scottie Pippen is trying to be the number 1 best seller on the New York Times by creating buzz, controversy, and discord Question is how and is it really working? We discuss the decision to suspend Sha'Carri Richardson, and also compare Michael Phelps suspension to this one. Final picks for the NBA Finals

Bill Cosby is finally free. Free Bill was never a thing though. Rankings of some of the top young players. Name, imagine, likeness has finally been passed but how does it play out and is it a good thing. Finally we have our NBA update, breakdown and analysis! Music picks of the week.

NBA Conference finals are happening. Suns vs Clippers & Bucks vs Hawks (who wins, how many, and the keys to victory). What went wrong for the 76ers. What should happen to Ben Simmons, and why one of us is sick of the failed process w/ Ben Simmons. Why Zion Williams better stay put in New Orleans before he ruins his career. With some much deserved shoutouts and our music picks of the week.

The conclusion of Round 1 of the NBA playoffs has taken place. Means round 2 is on and poppin. A few issues with round 1 were spotted and pointed out, and of course we had to address them. We highlight the faith of the championship being in Brooklyn Nets hands, and who really can stop them. A conference trying to take Grambling and others from SWAC schools, we say Nah to this. We touch a little bit more on the Steve Kerr affect and how it has trickled down to Brad Stevens moving up.

We are back after a long break... We went to hard on our birthday month, but so did the Milwaukee Bucks... With this break came a lot of music, new released, and break downs from Cary. The playoffs is the big scoop and how we see them panning out... 1st round is almost, what will round 2 bring...

Gary and Cary discuss the upcoming NFL Draft and the QB scenarios for teams in need of a spark. Also where could Julio Jones wind up. The NBA playoffs are just around the corner, but some special shouts must be given for the MVP conversation. WE ALSO HAVE TO SHOUTOUT THE NEW KNICKS AKA JULIUS RANDLE. We also step into the mind of Kevin Durant, and do an interview from our perspective on what is really going on behind his actions. We end with a perspective on Russel Westbook's comments. Finally we give you our 2 music picks of the week.
