This week we sat with Jay Crawford who knows that "every assistant is a CEO in training".
With an impressive resume as a singer and songwriter, Jay had the moment that many artists have and decided that the music business wasn't her friend anymore and walked...well, moved away to Atlanta and found her place in the world working with music executive Ray Daniels as his Executive Assistant.
Crawford plans to share the wealth of knowledge she has acquired with others and will soon be training future CEO's who want to learn what it is to get into the assistant game...
You have to start somewhere and it might as well be with the end in mind...
And as always, you're welcome.
We unpack a few things this week; like being specific in what you ask for from the universe, what it is to disrupt the charts, not being a one-hit-wonder, and Anderson Paak calling your phone a little upset. All of this brings us to the sweet spot... that place where DJ Luke Nasty found himself with not one, but two hit records that still move crowds.
This is also the story of an independent artist and his childhood friends (Tubs), who is building his brand from scratch... you will definitely learn something this episode.
And as always, You're Welcome...
