The Geek Church podcast started in 2010 and was a lot of fun, but life changed for Jared and Jeff causing the end of the show. 12 years later it’s back for a second season.

Things are changing.

This was yesterday’s episode but I accidentally posted it to DailyMVS. Oops.

Scripture: John 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have Loved you

Observation:

-We are to love each other to Gods standard.

-This goes far beyond the “Golden Rule”

Application:

-1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.

-Our love from God is not conditional. Therefore our love for others shouldn’t be either.

-Loving someone unconditionally is not the same as accepting wrong behavior without trying to loving bring them into correction.

-Gods love should overflow from us and pull people to God. It should not be our fuel to attack others.

Prayer:

What’s your prayer today? Take a second and say something to God.
