Geek Freak of the Week

It was three years ago that Power Rangers was brought to movie theaters pleasing all 90's kids. What was supposed to be the start of a new franchise turned into just one film. Lame. Take a listen to Maz chat with a fellow fan in this repost of "Being A Power Rangers Fan" on the Geek Freak of the Week Podcast.

In Issue 34, Maz breaks down the Birds of Prey movie and how this was Warner Brothers' best chance at damage control for the DCEU.

Issue 33 has arrived. This was supposed to be out sooner but Maz got sick. (He's human after all)
Will the 90s series 'Beast Wars' be the next Transformers film? Time yo geek out to learn about the animals in disguise!

This week was supposed to be all about Beast Wars but then I came down with a sickness and can't get myself to record an episode.
In a few weeks, I'll be speaking with Kristen from WWKD Podcast about the series 'His Dark Materials'. So to get you ready for our antics here is our chat on the Lion King remake from a while back.

Issue 32! It's been 10 years since the dark saber was introduced into Star Wars canon. Since then it's been a fan favorite and has now made its live-action debut. With the return of Star Wars The Clone Wars will we see it again? What does Disney have planned? Time to geek out.

In issue 31 of the GFotW Podcast, Maz teams up with a movie geek about the nominations for the Oscars. The Joker reigns supreme. Avengers, not so much. Let's geek out.

Issue 30 is all about the Rise of Skywalker. So yeah, spoilers are coming. Remember my theory from episode 24? About that...

Issue 29! No sequel to the 2017 Power Rangers film. I haven't felt this sad since the Megazord fell apart in season three. We can rejoice a little because Hasbro and Paramount are teaming up to give us a reboot....involving time travel? Oh boy. Let's geek out.

Issue 28! We should have had a trailer for the next installment of the "monster-verse" with Godzilla vs Kong. Now the movie has been moved AGAIN. Why? Let's geek out.

This weekend the much-anticipated Crisis on Infinite Earth's crossover is arriving on The CW. Before you hear the post-crisis episode on this podcast that will be coming soon, here is a quick trip down memory lane to get you ready for the biggest event in DCTV history.
