BREA GRANT is a filmmaker/writer best known for co-writing/directing the apocalyptic feature, Best Friends Forever, and acting on shows like Heroes and Dexter, and features like Halloween II and Dead Night.

She has co-written two comic series -- We Will Bury You, a 1920s zombie series, and The Suicide Girls, based on the popular website.

She's got a whole lot of other stories and projects that she's working on but we are very excited to speak with her about her graphic novel - Mary: The Adventures of Mary Shelley's Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Granddaughter by Brea Grant; illustrated by Yishan Li (Six Foot Press; 10/6/2020; ISBN: 978-1644420294; Paperback $18.99; Ages 12-18).

It's about a group of doomsday preppers who are seeking a sense of community during the zombie apocalypse. Season 1 picks up one week into the apocalypse, and it’s clear that no one is more prepared than the six neurotic members of the Ready, Prep, GO forum: Mac, a life-long doomsday prepper; Leo, a bossy middle-school teacher; Maisie, a bubbly fangirl; Eleanor, her jam-making girlfriend; Jodie, a cultural anthropologist; and Harper, a mess.

Co-creators Nicole Martinez and Anna Stacy launched Dead-Enders with the decision to embrace the ensemble-driven nature of the series by encouraging actors to play instrumental roles in developing their characters and story arcs, through the writing process and beyond.
