We did it, McFriends. Another Marchy McFly successfully in the books. In this episode, we finish out Back to the Future - a perfect movie with an amazing ending.

Today was a loooong day. I talk about most of it before I actually get discussing today's block of Back to the Future, so buckle up for an adventure!

In today's segment, Marty finds out that Doc did in fact read the letter, which allowed him to survive (or at least plan to survive - you never know.) We then find out Doc is heading 30 years into the future, and when Marty wakes up the next morning - something's not right. And with all questions Marty has, there's only one that I have.

What did they do with the Libyans?

It’s Saturday Night! The last Saturday of the month – And the last day of Marchy McFly in 1955. We’re finally back to the 80s with Marty, Eric Clapton, Red the bum, porn shops and a new mall name!

I also talk about how I’m still not feeling great even though my voice sounds a little better. Kind’ve.

I talk about how I did the episode yesterday because I had plans last night. Part of those plans lead to me sick to my stomach – the other part of my first ever tattoo to commemorate my upcoming 25th wedding anniversary.

I’m a rebel now!

A rebel who had to pause recording to blow his nose and get a cough drop – but a rebel nonetheless.

Good morning, McFriends! If you thought my voice sounded bad last night, get ready to think that my show was taken over today by the 7-Up Guy! Alas, I feel mostly fine - but I sound like trash. Does that stop me from putting out a podcast? Great Scott, no!

Today's segment is 95% without dialogue, but I go off on a few tangents, as I usually do - and I end up talking way more than I planned.

But at least now I can attempt to go to bed early tonight. We'll see.

Hello Future Boys and Girls! Today was filled with some of my favorite things! A Red Sox opening day victory, helping out at an event all about books and reading, and talking about Back to the Future!

We're still in 1955 for a couple days, but unfortunately Doc discovered the letter that Marty put so much work into. Emmett ripped it up right in front of his face. I bet Lou would be pissed to find out his envelope, ink and paper were wasted!

Or were they?

We'll find out in the future....or....no, no it's the future.

But Marty needs to get there first! Hopefully Doc will reconnect the wife before the lightning strikes. Otherwise, Marty's stuck there.

Until he can scrape together enough plutonium that is.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY MARCHY McFRIENDS! Today I had a blast recording an episode with my long time friend and frequent guest of the show, Jason! And of course, we stick strictly to Back to the Future talk and don't go off the rails and on a tangent right at the beginning....Or am I just being clever to get you to listen?

October 12, 1955 - the day that Marty McFly saved his life. The day he saved his brother and sister's lives. The day Marty McFly saved his parents marriage.

The day he invented rock and roll.

Big day for Marty, and while it's not over yet - in today's episode, I talk mostly about Johnny B. Goode since that takes up 90% of today's segment. I listen to the original Chuck Berry 1958 version of the song, as well as the version that plays in the movie. You know, the one credited to "Marty McFly and the Starlighters."

And sure, Michael J. Fox can play guitar, but even though his character was credited as performing the song - I talk about the actual voice you hear - and who is actually playing the guitar.

And then I couldn't help myself and play another version of the song. Hey it's my show, I make the rules!

Yes, please don't read that without singing it out loud. Happy Monday Marchy McFriends! Tonight we see George go full his full mutation from zero to hero. We see Marty almost disappear. We see Biff most likely concussed, and we talk about some Penguins.

All in a days work.

Happy Sunday you reefer addicts (that makes sense when you listen, I swear - and I do swear.) Today's segment of Back to the Future is a huge one! We see the exact moment where Lorraine never looks at Marty the same again and I think the exact moment where Lorraine will never look at George the same either. Whether Biff will ever change his thoughts on George remains to be seen.

We also talk about Marvin Berry and his band, the Starlighters - and I come to realize that Marty and George's plan was kind've terrible.

Happy Saturday, party animals! Yesterday was a big day in my life. We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday party - and everything went perfectly - AND frequent podcast guest (and party guest) Eric sent me an awesome pin that I mentioned in an earlier episode!

Thank you Eric! Oh and in this episode, I sing a little more, we see and hear Marty write a letter, we discuss a deleted scene where we learn more about "Doc's permit" - and why I am glad they cut it, and we get a classic scene where Marty finally realizes his mother was just a typical teenager despite what she told him in the past.

Or I guess the future.
