Geek Mythology Podcast

The team (minus Tara) discuss their favourite reveals from this years E3 as well as talking about the latest news within the television, movie and gaming industry. Toby also gives judgement to The Fault in Our Stars (book and movie) and Edge of Tomorrow while Andy judges Maleficent.

This week the team looks into the depths of hacking to celebrate the release of the much anticipated Watch_Dogs! We also participate in another round of the Geek Olympiad, discuss the latest news coming out of the industry and Toby judges Godzilla.

Our beloved Community is gone. This news brought up the topic of cancellations of TV shows and the whole finale fiasco. The team come together to discuss how they feel about the situation, they vie for power in the Geek Olympiad, talk about all the latest and greatest in the news room and Tara and Andy give their opinions on both Agents of SHIELD and Arrow's respective season finales. There's also a judgement of Valiant Hearts: The Great War and brand new Jadenisms for you to cringe at, all in this weeks podcast.

With Godzilla fast approaching and del Toro's Pacific Rim smashing theaters last year, the Geek Mythology Team look at various aspects of the 'monster-movie' genre and how it could correlate into gaming. There's also a helping dose of the latest news in TV, Movies and Gaming and various banter about the fact that this episode is the first episode that'll be both a video and audio podcast(exciting)! The GMP team look into Sci-fi and talk about the blend between Fantasy and Sci-fi and our thoughts on the genre's humble beginnings. We also go through the most relevant news in TV, Movies and Gaming for this week and as always, engage in another round of the Geek Olympiad. There's also opinions on Daylight, Bad Neighbors and Ubisoft's upcoming racer, The Crew.

May is a pretty big month, and the team (-Lel) is here to bring you all of the info about what you'll most likely be watching or playing during it! We also look into the results of last months April Preview and dive into most of the latest news surrounding tv, movies and gaming!

Book Adaptations! Twilight, Lord Of The Rings, Harry Potter… We're seeing a heck of a lot of adaptations of novels/comics and so on these days and so the team (including special guest Zhiana) decided to talk about them specifically on the podcast thanks to Divergent's release! We also look into the news currently surrounding TV/Movies/Gaming and of course, the geek olympiad is back!

Zombies! Zombies? Zombies… Yes, the brain munching, human loving creatures from the grave are our discussion topic of the week. Not only that, we also devise a huge round of the Geek Olympiad that's all about Zombie survival and as always - we talk about the latest and greatest news within the tv, movie and gaming space. We also talk about the Walking Dead season finale, How I Met Your Mother's series finale and Toby gives a small dose of impressions on SteamWorld Dig, Murdered: Soul Suspect and Child of Light.

What seemed like a small April in gaming looks to be big one for us Aussies when it comes to movies! The Geek Mythology team (Lel returns!) look at what's hitting our shores in April whilst also looking into the biggest and best out of the news department. Expect a giant discussion on Virtual Reality and judgement on Divergent and inFAMOUS: Second Son. Because, well, that's what happens on the Geek Mythology Podcast.

Superheroes, overused or under-utilised? The Geek Mythology team (minus one, but with special guest Sabre from Geek Bomb) delve into this subject and talk about their opinions on Superhero movies, games and TV shows. We also look at some of the biggest news coming out of GDC (amongst the normal stuff of course) and also give judgement to Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall.
