Geek Syndicate

Welcome to Crash Landing. This episode Steve chats to Science Fiction and Fantasy author Niel Bushnell. He is the author of the SF Arkship Saga novels for adults as well as Fantasy books for children and young adults. Niel has just 60 minutes to choose 5 books he would need to survive and keep him sane if he were to crash land on an alien world.

After the news Steve and Scott settle down to talk about Ready Player One. Both the 2011 book by Ernest Cline and the 2018 movie directed by Stephen Spielberg. They discuss the pros and cons of the story in both and how they manage the references to geek culture.

So here it is the spoilerful review of Infinity War. Monts and Nuge now freed from the shackles of silence delve into every corner of the film.

This is Bags of Action. The podcast devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them are awesome! In this episode Steve and Pete talk about the 2017 film, The Foreigner, starring Jackie Chan. This film is currently available on Netflix UK and is both an action film but also a political thriller. It's the first Jackie Chan film we've done and a modern action thriller, not one of his older action movies or a comedy, so did it live up to our expectations?

Welcome back to another dose of pop culture fun with Geek Syndicate with Monts and Nuge.
